# Items And Payouts

##

### Sellable Items

Sellable items are configured in:

```lua
Config.Catalog = {
    lockpick = { value = {min = 100, max = 200}, odds = 80, repNeeded = 0 },
    phone    = { value = {min = 50, max = 150}, odds = 60, repNeeded = 0 },
    radio    = { value = {min = 200, max = 400}, odds = 70, repNeeded = 0 },
    goldbar  = { value = {min = 2000, max = 5000}, odds = 50, repNeeded = 100 }
}
```

Each item key must match the item name in your inventory.

Fields:

* `value.min`: minimum price per item.
* `value.max`: maximum price per item.
* `odds`: chance the buyer wants this item.
* `repNeeded`: minimum reputation required before buyers will purchase it.

### Add A New Item

Example:

```lua
Config.Catalog = {
    laptop = { value = {min = 800, max = 1500}, odds = 45, repNeeded = 25 },
}
```

Make sure `laptop` exists in your inventory item list.

### Payout Method

Payout settings are configured in:

```lua
Config.Payout = {
    method = 'cash',
    markedBillItem = 'markedbills'
}
```

Available methods:

```lua
method = 'cash'
method = 'markedbills'
```

### Cash Payout

When using cash:

```lua
method = 'cash'
```

The script pays the player through the framework money system.

### Marked Bills Payout

When using marked bills:

```lua
Config.Payout = {
    method = 'markedbills',
    markedBillItem = 'markedbills'
}
```

The script gives one marked bill item with metadata:

```lua
{ worth = totalPayout }
```

For `ox_inventory`, the script also displays the `worth` metadata label.

### Important Notes

* If an item is not in `Config.Catalog`, the buyer will never purchase it.
* If the player has no wanted items, the buyer rejects the sale.
* The script removes sold items from inventory after the sale is accepted.
* If a robbery happens, the buyer removes the offered goods without paying.
