#### server.cfg Load Order

Resources must start in this order:

```
ensure oxmysql
ensure ox_lib
ensure ox_inventory
ensure dm-throwitems
ensure object_gizmo
```

***

#### First-Time Setup

1. **Choose a layout** — Decide between `classic` and `loadout` in `data/ui.lua` before touching anything else. The two layouts look and behave differently enough that it's worth choosing up front rather than switching later. See UI Themes for the full option list.
2. **Items** — Add your item definitions to `data/items.lua`. Every item used on your server must have an entry here.
3. **Config files** — Review and edit all files in `data/`:

   | File           | Purpose                                                                    |
   | -------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
   | `clothing.lua` | Clothing slot layout and drawables                                         |
   | `rarity.lua`   | Rarity tier colours and animations                                         |
   | `utility.lua` | Utility slot items, armor values, backpack capacities |
   | `crafting.lua` | Bench types, recipes and XP rewards |
   | `storage.lua`  | Storage types and pre-placed units                                         |
   | `shops.lua` | Shop inventories, locations and target zones |
   | `ui.lua` | UI layout, active colour theme, slot content scaling, and permission flags |
4. **Start the server** and open a player inventory to confirm the UI loads correctly.

#### Framework Compatibility

DevMosaic Inventory uses the **ox\_lib bridge** layer for framework calls (jobs, player data, notifications, etc.). It is compatible out of the box with:

* **ESX**
* **QBox**
* **QBCore**
